Mechanical Biological Treatment
NEWS, through its associate company Sustainable Resource Management (SRM), is developing one of the most advanced facilities for the processing of non-hazardous household waste in Europe at the Longwater Industrial Estate in Costessey, on the outskirts of Norwich, following the granting of a major contract to SRM by Norfolk County Council.
This remarkable new state-of-the-art facility will handle a significant proportion of Norfolk’s domestic waste, reducing the amount of material currently sent to landfill. It will put Norfolk at the forefront of waste management technology in Britain.
